Getting My Sexy Back with Premier Clilnic @ TTDI

Tired, dissapointed and nearly giving up.  I have been carrying a burden on my back for a long time. For many years, I have been looking for a trustworthy healer to resolve my misery. Scar creams, whitening solutions and such have just been money drainers. I then realized that only aesthetic treatment can cure the pigmentation on my back which has been taking toll on the way I dress and my confidence.
Excited for my treatment at Premier Clinic
Searching for good aesthetic treatment prods me to do research before I engage the suitable institution.

My considerations are:

1. Certified and authorized aesthetic physician
It is important that diagnosis is done by certified aesthetic doctors as treatment involves the health of the skin, the human's largest organ. Aesthetic boutiques which only assign beauticians to definitely do not gain my trust.

2. Professionalism and expertise
After making sure that I am engaging a proper and legitimate clinic, its professionalism and expertise is also crucial. Centers who pressure customers to walk out with products or packages have me fleeing before they can say goodbye. I would hands down vouch for sincere service.

3. Affordability
Price is something that is undeniably influential in my (and many people's) decision to engage a clinic. If I had to sell a kidney to get the treatment, I would have to leave the spots on my back. However, I would would be suspicious of dodgily underpriced treatments as technology is, a matter of fact, costly.
With Dr Nigel Ong
When I entered Premier Clinic, I felt I have entered a down-to-earth medical establishment. The environment was clean and organized with no overly pretentious display which suggests that the team is more invested in the results to prove their brand. I was amicably ushered into the doctor's consultation room soon after registration.
Dr Nigel Ong, explaining in detail what is Post Inflamatory Inflation (PIH)
Dr. Nigel Ong was all smiles throughout consultation and made sure that I understood everything from the cause of my problem to its solution. After just a few sentences into the consultation, I was relieved to hear that my condition is easily treatable. Dr. Nigel assured me that it was easy to treat the pigmentation and in no time, I will be having a smooth back.

What I like about Premier Clinic:

1. Professional and trustworthy doctors
My consultant was honest and sincere to bring the best out in me. They are professional in every way from inspection, to treatment to understanding my misery. I also have to say good job to Premier Clinic for making their website very user friendly and comprehensive. There was no 'luring' of customers the devious way. Everything I needed to know was displayed clearly for my informed decision.

2. Cutting edge machines
The machine used to treat my skin is one of the many latest equipment invested by the clinic to address almost any imperfection! The up-to-date machines indeed gave me confidence that their treatment is a result of stringent research.

3. Friendly staff and great service and no touting
Indeed their staff are always wearing a smile and accommodating demeanor. Most importantly, they did not pressure me into purchasing products or services. It was like having people who sincerely wanted me to be more beautiful.

4. Affordability
It was a pleasant surprise that these treatments are not impossible for me. I was expecting a starling celebrity price tag. All prices are transparently displayed on their website which makes me more comfortable in making plans and decisions.
Dr Nigel was very understanding during the consultation and assured me that my situation is treatable
At the base level of the most surface layer of the skin, epidermis, is where melanin is produced. Pigmentation occurs when more melanin are produced in one area of the skin.

This extra production of melanin is triggered by:
1. Hormonal change (beware during pregnancy)
2. UV because melanin is produced to protect the skin (that's why we have to avoid the sun)
3. Injury (in my case, acne!)
Dr. Nigel prescribing my treatment, the Q-Switch laser
Dr. Nigel prescribed the Q-switch laser which emits high energy light towards the affected area, reducing unwanted skin cells. The laser penetrates deeply without injuring the top layer of skin and encourages production of collagen and vital proteins. The Q-switch laser is very versatile and used for age spots, birthmarks, dull skin, skin whitening and even tattoo removal.
Just the beauty antidote I need in my life!
Treatment room
After consultation, I jumped straight into the patient's gown and laid on my stomach where the nurse thoughtfully adjusted the air conditioning temperature to my liking. The laser treatment only takes 15 painless minutes and 30 minutes of numbing with cream before that. Efficient and fuss free! After the treatment, I walked away without any downtime (no recovery period).

There is nearly nothing that you cannot correct in Premier Clinic!
They are confident in providing a plethora of aesthetic services. Just take a look at their website and choose your pick from the menu

It gives me an opportunity to invest in myself worry-free and at an affordable price. I'll definitely be back to reward myself more!

Porco Macau Pork Chop Bun @ Lot 10 Hutong

There is a bun that is so delicious that it has become a trademark of Macau. My first encounter with that iconic bun was when I visited the country back in 2010. Since then, my attempts to revisit those flavours involve just as much effort as buying a plane ticket. Thus, I had to put my craving for the pork bun on hold...UNTIL NOW! Thanks to Lot 10 Hutong, the famous Macau Pork Bun is in Malaysia, right here in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
Me having my Pork Chop Bun in Macau
Lot 10 Hutong has specially selected Chef Yoke who mastered the skill of making the Pork Bun when she was in Macau. This bun is a marriage of the Portugese and Macanese culinary heritage which gave me a lasting impression from the first bite I took of it seven years ago. My search for that craving officially ended when I discovered Porco Macau Pork Chop Bun.
Excited that Lot 10 Hutong brought Macau's heritage food to Malaysia
Macau Milk Tea RM5.90
Before digging in to the star of the day, I soothed my throat with a good brew of milk tea. Using evaporated milk and syrup, the Macau Milk Tea is silky and sweetened just right for a refreshing treat especially with ice!
Macau Pork Chop Bun RM15.90 (set) RM13.90 (ala carte)
The simple union of two pillowy soft buns and a piece of pork without unnecessary garnishes and condiments packs a punch. The bread is laced with a thin layer of butter and toasted to a light crisp outside while maintaining softness inside. Be ready when you bite into the pork as the tender piece of meat, marinated thoroughly with rice wine, brandy, spices and other secret ingredients, will blow you away! A little heads-up though, consume while still hot as cooled buns will shrink its delectability.
Finally! I met Macau's Pork Chop Bun again!
Chef Yoke's preparation to make the piece de resistance tender involves no artificial tenderizer. Instead, meat is pounded with a mallet to release the meat from tight fibers. Bona fide physical strength is required to make the texture of every piece of meat a little blessing in the mouth. No shortcuts! After the meat is infused with flavour, it is deep fried until beautifully caramelized resulting in a thin crisp outside and a juicy joy inside.
Tender, well seasoned and beautifully caramelized
Chef Yoke is very particular with the ingredients used to marinate the meat. At the glass window of her stall, you will notice bottles of the premium soy sauce Chef Yoke uses are proudly lined up for display.
Chef Yoke learnt the art of making the pork chops from its origin in Macau
Macau Pork Chop Noodle RM15.90 (set) RM13.90 (ala carte)
The toothsome strands of their Macau Pork Chop Noodle deserves praise. The noodle is springy with scrumptious seasoning well distributed in the bowl. Its taste is akin to the wantan noodle, only better. With pieces of pork chop slotted between intervals of having the noodles, you are on your way to satisfaction. However, there is no need to dip the pork in the noodle's gravy as both are already intensely marinated. Some opine that it may be too salty eaten that way.
Macau Pork Chop Rice with Egg RM15.90 (set) RM14.90 (ala carte)
If rice is your choice of carbohydrate, the Macau Pork Chop Rice will delight you with a sunny side up cooked so perfectly that you might not have the heart to pop the yolk! Served with a whole bowl of curry for that gravy-licious contentment!
Macau Curry Fish Ball RM6.90
Ka lei yu dan (curry fishball) is one of Macau's and Hong Kong's the favourite street foods as always screened on TVB dramas and HK movies. Now you can find some good Macau Curry Fish Ball here too! The bouncy and succulent fishballs are basted with curry of good thickness and spiced sufficiently.

Day and Night Flawless Looks with Kat Von D by

Flawlessness has always been an alluring feature on the face. Despite lack of embellishment, smooth, clear and uni-tone skin speaks more. Good foundation has always been my interest to form a flawless canvas. This time, I am going to check out Kat Von D's Lock-It Foundation, ironically created by a tattoo artist who cannot bear to leave a bare patch on her skin . However, her foundation, I heard, is an 'antidote' to even tatoo-ed skin.
Sephora, my go-to shop for make-up
I am going to test the Kat Von D products on a day that needs me to be a professional engineer when there is day light and rocking rebel when the moon replaces the sun. My ammunition would be the Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation and two bullets of Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipsticks.

Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation
Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation in Medium 52 Neutral RM179
30ml 1.0 Oz
I have a neutral shade with a yellow undertone. Therefore, the Medium 52 Neutral absolutely matches my skin. When choosing your foundation colour, make sure that you are honest to yourself.

Although I WANT to have a pinkish hue, slapping pink tones on my face would only make me turn grey at the end of the day. If you are yellow, choose yellow. Kat Von D's foundation range boasts 32 shades for you to choose from, so there is no shade you cannot find unless you are as green as the Hulk!

Packaged in a 1.5 inch diameter transparent barrel with Kat Von D's signature calligraphic logo in silver and black, the pump press is comfortable enough for me to control the right amount pumped out without mess.

This foundation provides full coverage . I simply love the powerful pigmentation that gave my skin the limelight it was deprived of from acne scars. For tatoos, 3 layers or so are needed.

On my oily skin, it managed to keep my skin matte till lunch. It naturally turned dewy and gave a hydrated look after a while of baking. A little blotting and touch-up and I am ready for my party. After long hours of wear, it still feels like part of my skin and non-cakey with the touch-ups.

I have to applaud its transfer-resistance. The foundation did not stain my black shirt even after I deliberately brush my black shirt on my skin. Thanks to its concoction of silicon elastomers and siliconic esters.

Safely non-transferable
Most important of all, it is paraben-free, sulfate-free and phthalate-free.

Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipsticks
In a stylish black studded casing that resembles Kat's favourite bracelet, the Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstics come in the regular twist up mechanism. However, there is nothing regular about its range of colours. Its continuum includes miraculous pigments with shimmer and cult colours. Sparkling green and black midnight tones are certainly colours that could turn your life around!
Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick in Bachelorette Matte Redish Fuschia (cult favourite) RM60
The glide on the lips is no-doubt smooth. Its colour pigmentation is rich enough for one-time application making my lips pop for the oomph I need according to the attitude I am wearing.

And oh, the sweet Creme Brulee scent just makes me feel so feminine! I adore its velvety finish. It is infused with vitamins A, C and E, an antioxidant that leaves lips feeling supple and most importantly, in the mood for some kiss kiss!

It is no wonder that I find myself indulging in looking in the mirror all the time which my colleagues must have noticed too!
Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick in L.U.V. Matte Rich Violet (cult favourite) RM60
It is formulated without parabens, sulfates and phtyalates. Available in a wide range of attention seeking pigments and everyday neutral colours.

Brunch at Level One Coffee House @ Glenmarie Shah Alam

What wakes me up on a Saturday morning is the thought of a delicious and hearty breakfast waiting for me. In cases I need to catch up on sleep after trudging through the week, brunch does the same magic too. And on my ongoing quest of searching for interesting brunches, I chanced upon this charming coffee house just recently birthed in Temasya Glenmarie Square, a newly developed area not too far way from Subang Jaya.
Check out this really cosy cafe, Level One Coffee House
Aptly called Level One, this cafe sits on the first floor of the corner shop just opposite the Lamborghini showroom. As it is one of the first eateries around this area, it is not difficult to spot this cosy corner.
Located on the first level of the corner lot
This cafe captured my heart even before I tried their food. Their attention to details of their interior is already worth the visit. Welcomed by a wall of heart-warming quotes and lamps, my vibe for the weekend is already one level up! The cafe imbues a soothing environment with commendable cleanliness. Wait till you check out their chic displays and well-thought concepts to make their patrons feel at home.
Captivating quotes that will reel you in with positive vibes!
Ah relaxed while I order my brunch
The Swedish owner and his Malaysian wife cleverly blends different themes together in their fashionably high-ceiling space to cater to different moods and persona. Eclectic decoration peices coexist in the coffee house successfully creating a wonderful feast for guests' eyes. At one corner there is the Malaysian vintage display, in the other corner there is Scandinavian simplicity, and then English freshness with an Arabic lamp which all surprisingly comes together nicely!
Stylish section for gatherings and group meetings under the shade
Choose your corner of high seating, easy round tables or intimate booths
The displays will keep you fascinated while waiting for food.
Prettily decorated balcony is cooling even though its hot outside
Check out their meaning quotes all around the coffee house
Level One Coffee House places a lot of emphasis on the quality and type of coffee they brew. They take pride in their imported coffees which can satisfy not only coffee junkies but coffee connoisseurs alike- Ethiopia Yirgacheffe, Gourmet Coffee, Indian Monsoon Malabar and Suatra Mandheling.

For latte lovers, try their best seller Coconut Latte which is layered how people with OCD would love. Its aroma is pronounced and has the smoothness that my throat approves
Known for their commitment in food and coffee
If you like lattes like me, do sip on their best seller Coconut Latte
RM12 hot/ RM15 cold for gourmet blend, RM14 hot/ RM16 cold for single origin
Level One boasts a fantastic gamut of European breads. Aromatic and flavourful, these breads serve as a fulfilling meal as alternative to rice. Their breads are brought in fresh everyday and never older than a day. European breads are mostly sourdough which means they are left fermented for at least 36 hours. They are denser and heavier than our local loaves, making it sufficient for a meal. From the familiar croissant to the grainy Bavarian Spelt bread to the sweet nutty-flavoured poppy seed bun, Level One happily stuffs their bread with fresh vegetables and mouth-watering dressings for a balanced diet .

Oglio oglio Edamame is a flavourful and healthy snack that teases the tastebuds with its savoury hints RM8.00

Mixed salad with smoked fish (herring) and roasted sesame dressing RM12.00 medium (2-3 pax),
RM22 large (4-6 pax) and RM40.00 extra large (8-10 pax)
I must give credit to their mixed salad with smoked fish that comes with the incredibly palatable roasted sesame dressing. The scatter of alfalfa lifts the ordinary out of the salad. Anything that the dressing touches, instantly turns yummy. Herring fish is a favourite among Scandinavians which is sweet although some may find its oceanic taste a little too strong.
Ciabata smoked salmon RM24.00
Honey spelt beef cured RM18.00
Bavarian spelth chicken pastrami RM16.00
Poppy seed bun chicken peppercorn RM16.00
Ciabata Smoked Salmon RM24.00
Smoked Salmon Quiche RM28.00 (Saturday)
Their Smoked Salmon Quiche is the from the original recipe of their chef. Generously packed with ingredients, the quiche is a delicious composition of  smoked salmon, egg and vegetables which has a fluffy texture at the same time. Makes me wonder how she (the chef) could make the dish with so wonderfully balanced.
The generous range of sandwich selection
Level One's desserts are also not disappointing. Accompany your coffee with a slice of perfectly layered crepe cake which sweetness is just nice for a person who is careful about sugar levels like me. This Ramadan month, try their mocktails of the month. I recommend the Kurma Murma which has a fun granular texture with calming date fruit taste.
