Tanjung Sepat is not exactly the place that will first pop up in the minds of those who seek for good food and fun. But then, that is exactly what the charming fishing town offers. This humble place is easily overshadowed by more famous locations like Sekinchan and Kuala Selangor. It is at this underrated town that I found sweet and simple pleasures of life- the kind that gently leaves a lasting impression without you knowing it.

1. Visit the dragon fruit farm
If you heading to Tanjung Sepat from Kuala Lumpur, knowing that you will pass the Multi-Rich Pitaya dragon fruit farm first will help you plan your route. Make it the first stop to get some dragon fruit goodness before you reach Tanjung Sepat.
I have never seen a dragon fruit tree, let alone a dragon fruit farm. Not the most good looking bush/ tree I have seen but the fruits are irresistibly yummy and packed with goodness too!

2. Lovers Bridge Cultural Street
When heading to Lover's Bridge, you will first encounter a peculiar shop with items that have long passed their time. Try guessing what each item is used for in the olden days.

3. Lover's Bridge
The lover's is bridge is said to be built towards the sea so that the fishermen's spouses can greet them when they return from the sea or send them off to work. The newly renovated bridge is so enjoyable that I waited for the night stroll. The breeze unwinds as it caresses.

3. Tanjung Sepat Local Product Store
Dried seafood and other local products can be found at the Tanjung Sepat local product store. Charmingly decorated with adorable props, you will enjoy creating photographs here too. Facing the sea, you lounge and enjoy the view while nibbling on a fried ice-cream.

4. Pantai Cunang
Pantai Cunang provides a wide and flat beach for you to throw your kite in the air. The sand may be dark but it doesn't matter when you spread a matt and enjoy the sunset.
