Glamping at Tiny House at Terrace Valley Campsite Bukit Tinggi, Bentong

Glamping at the Tiny House in a safe and hidden campsite called Terrace Valley was indeed refreshing and healing. Only 1 hour away from Kuala Lumpur, Terrace Valley lets the view of the blue mountain and sounds of nature melt away the tension accumulated in our hectic lives.

The Tiny House is equipped with electricity, clean heated water, pillows, blankets and towels. I must say that the open kitchen is my favourite as I was cooking in the company of nature. The smell of grass and the sound of water the whole day nourished my soul. Cookware and utensils are provided, including washing agents. A BBQ night is a MUST! The bbq pits are well built and welcoming.

It is indeed the small things that matter. The gurgling of water, the chirping of insects, the sight of the sky full of stars, the clean chilly air in the morning is the tonic that we lack in the bustling city.

Whether alone or with your loved ones, this place is a wholesome for the body, mind and soul.

Skycamp @ Sungai Congkak, Selangor

Nowadays we stay home to work and go out to chill. Skycamp is one of the places where it is compulsory to do nothing but chill.

A cross between camping and catered stay but not glamping, Skycamp provides a wonderful balance for those who seek experience out in the raw outdoors while not being too troubled about the inconveniences but not wanting to be too pampered by modern utilities as well. We stayed in clean double-layered tents equipped with portable mini fans with trusty powerbanks. Guests are provided with an air-pillowed futon and a sleeping bag each. Camping equipments are noticeably of high quality.

The Skyteam has unbelievable passion for service. They made our stay as comfortable as possible. There was no need to occupy the mind with first aid as all we had to do was ask if we ever needed paracetamol, bandaid or even insect repellant. Yummy tea, BBQ dinner and breakfast were prepared by this very team. With cooking out of the way, you will have all the time to perfect the art of chilling, something that is rarely practise even when working from home.

Chill music emanated from the speaker while air blew from the air cooler, making this place easier to fall in love with. Fairy lights were used as illumination at night giving the colony a divine atmosphere. Wake up to cool crisp air while the morning dew and cricket chirp greets you. A true escape from the daily grind leaving behind the stress of working and the hassle of camping.

There is no plugpoint in the vicinity no matter how hard you try to find as if they know we will tend to cheat. There are neat bathrooms for you to stay fresh. Showers are not heated.
