Escape Themepark @ Paradigm Mall Petaling Jaya

ESCAPE Challenge is an indoor adventure theme park which brings the ESCAPE brand of outdoor play & retro-eco fun to the urban setting, giving today’s urbanites an escape from their sedentary lifestyle of indoor leisure & entertainment, and isolation from the outdoors. ESCAPE Challenge creates the ideal environment where family and friends can bond together over healthy, interactive fun in an urban setting.

The rides and attractions in this indoor playground replicate the fun & play our previous generation enjoyed in the natural environment away from the cities. They are designed for guests of all age groups, physical abilities and confidence levels, demonstrating that no matter how old or young you are its time to play.

Just looking at the park gives a fun feeling

Sim Choo Kheng, founder & Chief Escape Officer of ESCAPE Challenge, commented, “ESCAPE Challenge, Petaling Jaya is our showcase for ESCAPE’s brand of retro-eco fun and outdoor play in a contemporary setting. This reflects the synergy between the ESCAPE and partnering malls & developers to bring the outdoors indoors, and marks ESCAPE’s foray into urban centres. This has always been our strategy to propagate ESCAPE’s brand to other cities globally. ESCAPE Challenge redefines the concept of Family Entertainment Centres (FECs) based on ESCAPE’s ethos of re-discovering childhood play.”

The Smurfs Live On Stage @ Resorts World Genting

Be your kid's favourite parent/ aunty/ uncle/ bigger sister/ brother by bringing them to The Smurfs Live On Stage at Resorts World Genting. Why? Because if even I was singing to the Smurf tune whenever the La La song is on, your children will be dancing to it! I was even blue to the occasion that evening with my favourite blue dress.
The Smurfs Live on Stage-The Smurfs Save Spring
The child in me just found her way out by shaking my head from side to side with a cheer that I could not contain when the blue beings marched out on the stage. It instantly chased all the blue I accumulated from the week. It is always happy spring time when these white-hatted blue Smurfs appear. I must say that the musical is articulately played by actors with wonderful voices that made songs delivered live literally music to the ear . The show disseminates positive messages about friendship, teamwork and care for the environment.

Lots of fun twirls and prancing
“This year is the Smurfs’ 60th anniversary, as they were born in 1958,” says Nick Larkin, producer of the show. “It took many, many years of meetings, approvals, designing and planning to bring this show to life, but it was worth it in the end. The play was interactive with actors drawing reaction from the crowd to complete the scene. The audience were seen happily offering their response by answering unanimously and waving their hands in the air.
Smurfs are akin to spring
Directed by John Rowe and choreographed by Katie Kermond, of Millennium Entertainment International, ‘The Smurfs Live On Stage – The Smurfs Save Spring’ presents an original story about the Smurfs’ favourite time of the year – spring. As the village prepares for their much-awaited Spring Parade, their perennial nemesis – the evil Gargamel – plots to disrupt the festivities with another one of his wicked plans. The Smurfs will have to work together to battle Gargamel and save Mother Nature, brought to life by the talented actors of this long-running touring production.

Eight of the best-known Smurfs will feature prominently in ‘The Smurfs Live On Stage – The Smurfs Save Spring’, including Pape Smurf, Clumsy Smurf, Brainy Smurf and the lovely Smurfette.

Bracing the Waves in Sytle on the Flow Rider @ Sunway Lagoon

Nowadays 'going with the flow' may not be sufficient. The people that I met that morning prefer to RIDE on the flow! And, Sunway Lagoon has just the perfect thing for them to do that. Sunway Lagoon's Flow Rider, Malaysia's first surf simulator, is literally making waves.
Good morning!
It was  the stage for an enthralling display of flips and leaps of the Asia Flow Tour Finals 2016. For the first time ever, the finals of the region's premier flow boarding competition was held right here in Sunway Lagoon.
Asia Flow Tour Finals 2016
What is flowboarding (or flowriding)? It is a late 20th century alternative board sport incorporating elements of surfing, bodyboarding, skateboarding, skimboarding, snowboarding and wakeboarding.

The best flowboarders from Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia converged to make their skills seen under the light of the sunny day. The best of these countries will represent Asia at the upcoming World Championships in Singapore in October 2016.

Selangor Executive State Council Member of Tourism, Consumer Affairs and Environement, Yang Berhormat Elizabeth Wong applauded Sunway Lagoon's continuous efforts to keep tourism attractions in Petaling Jaya engaging. In my opinion, I am glad too that we have Sunway Lagoon to depend on for fresh and world-class concepts of entertainment.
Participants from Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia vying in the competition
Flowboarders ride on artificial waves comprising of a three-inch layer of water pumped at high pressure. The water flows upwards the slope and over surfaces engineered to replicate the shape of ocean waves. These are called 'sheet waves'. Sheet waves are stationary and do not move forward as natural waves do, requiring surf techniques to be metamorphed to better suit the modern sport. Flowboarders garner their speed from the energy of the water flowing at them, rendering them the ability to perform beautiful and near-acrobatic stunts in a confined area.

Despite being a relatively newcomer to the sport, Malaysia is already making waves in international flowboarding circuits. Check out how you can be a flowrider too by contacting Sunway Lagoon at 03-5639000 or log on to www.sunwaylagoon.com and www.facebook.com/SunwayLagoonMalaysia
