Stratosphere @ The Roof

The last time I was on a helipad, I was on an offshore rig, in the middle of South China Sea, wearing coveralls. And as far as I can remember, there was no grass. As my heels sank into the lawn, I was glad that my days on the helipad are not only persisting on land but also getting more interesting - there was no bar on the rig 😉.

Stratosphere at The Roof
Raising above the cacophony of the city, is a tranquil garden with romantic lights and enjoyable music. Being up at the Stratosphere definitely brought back the feeling of superiority at the highest level of a structure.

As the gentle wind strokes your hair, get ready for the piece de resistance of the evening- the view! Go to the brink of the helipad to feast your eyes on the 360 deg-wide awesomeness. Wherever you are standing, you are bound to be instagrammably back-, front- or side-dropped by the sight of the glowing city that encroaches seamlessly into the shadowy sky.

The overwhelming perspective could prod the imagination of being in a movie scene, especially of the overlooking-your-kingdom variety. So yes, a good low-light camera, selfie-stick or a skillful photographer bf could be useful for that profile pic.

Not surprisingly, this place is a hit during weekends, public holidays and celebrations. You might have to expect a full house if not more revelry during those days. So make your bookings early!
