Maybelline 'Make It Happen'- Meet and Greet with Tuti

Hey sisters! No matter how lousy you think you look, remember that there is no ugly women in the world...only lazy ones! Every woman is beautiful in their own way. So get off the couch and do something! For a start, try makeup.
Meet and greet Tuti
Before I met Maybelline, I always depended on wishful thinking to feel beautiful- wished my nose was sharper or my eyes were bigger etc. Then it dawned upon me that no one else but myself who should Make It Happen! A simple touch of a lipstick or a flick of the eyeliner not only can prettify me but give me a boost of confidence. Maybelline has always been there for me whenever I feel under the weather. Therefore, when Maybelline launched its new tagline "Make It Happen", I became a true advocate because it does not appear to be only a marketing catchphrase but a strong message to all ladies.
Beautiful colours by Maybelline
As a model, Tuti from Asia's Next Top Model Season is one with make up. She 'makes it happen' with make up. During the meet and greet session at Watsons Paradigm mall, she disclosed that make up tantamount to her career. What is your IT? Whether it is to be confident at work, to look gorgeous at a dinner or to impress your husband the IT you are looking for can be achieved with Maybelline. You define your own IT and Make It Happen!
Interview with Tuti
Reknowned celebrity make up artist and creative director Steven Sunny was also present. He intuitively gave Tuti a bold look that matched her black suit. His distress about Malaysian women's 'malas-ness' (laziness) and 'salah-ness' (mismatching) in being presentable is the duress of his career in hopes of correcting their appearance.

Vanity should not be negatively viewed, according to Steven Sunny. Vanity is part of the drive to make oneself presentable and being presentable should never be neglected as first impressions can win many unexpected opportunities.

During the session, Steven Sunny imparted good make up tips that were technical and proved his prowess in the industry. I took the opportunity to ask how should single-eyeliders wear their make up. He encouraged to not give up if you have small and oriental eyes. Go bold on eyeliner and use pencil eyeliner to smudge and create a shadow instead of a sharp line. We should not use multiple colours on the lids as there is no crease to define the eyes. To make the session sweeter, he threw in a compliment on my eyebrows that framed my almond-shaped eyes.
The single eyelid make-up. Go monoliders!
For single-eyeliders, there IS a way to wear eyeshadow and liners. They can be no less alluring than double-liders. Wait up for my single-eyelid make up tutorial to know how!
I have always loved Maybellines collection of colours
So ladies, in a nutshell, the source of your so called ugliness can only be your laziness. Discard it and discover a more beautiful and confident you! Make It Happen and conquer the world!

Maybelline Launches New Tagline 'Make It Happen' @ Midvalley

I applaud Maybelline's new and brilliant tagline, 'Make It Happen'. At last! A tagline that is concise, sharp and spot on! These three words give empowerment to women to make it happen, whatever the 'IT' may be. What is your 'IT', ladies? To be awesome on stage, to be pretty for your boyfriend or to be confident in the office? The brand helps you to make 'IT' happen! That's what Maybelline is disseminating.

Maybelline now urges you to 'Make It Happen'
'Make It Happen' is a much positive and stronger tagline compared to its predecessor 'Maybe She's Born With It, Maybe It's Maybelline.' To be honest, I never thought the old one was engaging as it bore too much uncertainty for the brand. Yes, it is understood that Maybelline was trying to compare the beauty it brings to natural beauty but it was only 'maybe' Maybelline. Maybe it was the collagen suppliment? Or the vitamin pills? Well enough of my two cents worth. What really matters and remained is that it is my no.1 make up brand because of its quality, good colours and affordability.

Make It Happen permits ladies to define their own beauty with make up. Facial artistry can do wonders to a person's confidence, boosts up one's mood and fortify one's belief. And all those will fuel you to achieve your dreams. Maybelline provides the tools, and it is up to you to Make It Happen! *Just love their new tagline*

Maybelline showcased their 'IT' girls who consist of Asia's Net Top Model Tuti, artepreneur and jewelry designer Harmini Asokumar, actress Elisya Sandha, Youtube singer Johanis Sani, beauty and lifestyle vlogger Wong Jie Xhia and freelance model Noorzamrina Zamrin. Each one of them shared how make up helped them transform their lives and how it oiled their way to achieve their dreams.

Maybelline's wide range of products
Low self-esteem and self doubt are often the hurdles between Malaysian women and their dream. In Maybelline's research, it is found that what matters to Malaysian girls today are their family, positivity, career or success, lifestyle and yes physical appearance. Call it shallow but physical impression counts. So if you don't feel beautiful enough or just feeling down, whip out a lipstick or put that mascara to good use. It does not really matter what people think about it. What matters is that your confidence is stretched a little higher...and it goes a long way.
Transform yourself with Maybelline
One of the things I love about Maybelline is its colours that make me want them all!
A trusted brand
Which product is your favourite? Mine would be the Maybelline Hypersharp Eyeliner!

Asia's Next Top Model Cycle 4

The Asia's Next Top Model (AsNTM) reality show returns with 14 more aspiring models in Season 4. Let more heels, gait and poses captivate you with competitors hailing from all over Asia. This season gets more interesting with models from Mongolia and Myanmar competing for the first time.
Who will be Asia's Next Top Model?
The premier was held lavishly at Indulge TGV One Utama with Model Mentor Kelly Tandiono and our very own Malaysian candidate, Tuti, gracing the event. No matter how shallow the society thinks modeling is, models at the event strut their stuff with self-confidence and self-worth, setting the perfect epitome for International Women's Day.

Cheers! It's International Women's Day too
Brought to you by Star World and Indulge
Kelly Tandiono stood out with her incredible height and sharp features that evening. Towering at 175cm plus some ridiculously high heels, Kelly approached me with a smile and a sociable handshake. Of course, I did not let the chance of a photograph with her slip away. In Asia's Next Top Model, the Indonesian model plays the role of the mentor, overseeing the contestants' improvement, modelling skills, attitude and well being. She co-judges the contest with Cindy Bishop and Yu Tsai. She feels that character and attitude are important to scale the ladder in the modeling industry.

Malaysia is not be left out in the interestingly fierce competition. Nuraini Noor, or more known as Tuti, is our Malaysian contestant in the highly popular reality show. At a glance, I did not harbour much confidence in her as her face was not what I always thought models would look like. But after witnessing her taking up the show's challenges in the first episode, I realized there is much more to modelling than just a pretty face. For first time viewers, this show brings out the depth of the highly challenging industry.
Our very own Malaysian representative Nuraini Noor aka Tuti
While Tuti admitted that her looks is not of conventional model material, she proves that she no less than others with her mettle, talent and character. Tuti is competitive and did Malaysia proud in the first episode itself. Check out how our compatriot fairs every Wednesday with a flag wrapped around if you can. Malaysia Boleh!
A light moment with Tuti
The premier party continued to mesmerize the crowd with a fashion show, with of course Tuti as the celebrated model.

 MAYBELLINE
Make up comes as an utter necessity in the show. Assuming the crucial role of the official make up partner of AsNTM is Maybelline. The brand demonstrates itself to be the vehicle for models to achieve any look desirable. According to Maybelline's Marketing Manager, Pink Fong, the brand believes in empowering women to achieve self-confidence aside from facial artistry.
