Mua Chi @ Petaling Street

I was craving for a nutty snack and 'mua chi' came to mind. What else can be nuttier than glutinous rice balls burried in ground peanuts!

Mdm Tang the Mua Chi Queen
So my craving took me to Petaling Street, searching for the Mua Chi Queen. The perennial stall, hollering 'yat lau' (best) from a recorder, has defined Petaling Street's very existance. However, Mdm Tang is not letting familiarity breed contempt.

Interesting flavours- Ribena, lychee, mango
Take a closer look at you will find a delightful range of mua chi flavours. Ribena, lychee and mango are the contemporary flavours introduced by Mdm Tang. The flavours permeate through every bite of the sticky cake. The chewy cake itself is not too starchy and has the right biteability. For only RM5 per packet, exhume bits of this tasty snack while you walk amidst the vibrance of Petaling Street.

What do you do with the leftover peanuts. Pour them into your mouth of course!
